After a few local races at the club, you will want to up your game by participating in the Texas Sailing Association circuit.  There are approximately 15 regattas throughout the year. If you sail a minimum of seven you will receive a Texas State ranking. TSA offers the following fleets:

• Optimist Green Fleet: Open to all novice sailors under age 15
• Optimist White Fleet: Age 10 and under
• Optimist Blue Fleet: Age 11 – 12
• Optimist Red Fleet: Age 13 – 15
• Laser 4.7 & Radial & Full
• C420/FJ – two person boats
